Plastics of HDPE Material

HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a petroleum-derived thermoplastic. It is a versatile product with low absorption of moisture, excellent resistance to impact, high tensile strength, and good resistance to chemical and corrosion.

HDPE’s properties make it a preferred choice for a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications such as bottles, furniture, kick plates, fuel tanks, lockers, playground equipment, packaging, food processing equipment, and boat, RV, and emergency vehicle interiors.

HDPE does not split, rot, or hold harmful bacteria in place. It is also highly recyclable and resistant to the adverse effects of washing agents. Furthermore, HDPE is a relatively inexpensive option compared to metal or glass for many applications.
